Fair Haven Neighborhood Schools is a collaboration that
includes seven public schools, two parochial schools, and
one private school. All of these schools are located within
Fair Haven, Connecticut. Two of the schools are automated by
Phoenix, one being an elementary school and the other a
middle school. The installation of Phoenix was completed in
December of 2004 by Integrated Systems & Services.
Much like
Silas Deane Middle School, the installation at
Fair Haven is on a smaller scale with only a Head End and
the Phoenix Server PC. Absent are the Television Managers
that are placed within the rooms at most schools. Instead,
the end-users manually tune their display devices and
control of the Head End sources is accomplished with the
Phoenix32 web client. This is a perfect solution for smaller
school districts that need an inexpensive and reliable
solution for media management. While Phoenix can drive
hundreds (or thousands) of plasma displays, projectors, and
televisions, it can also be utilized in less demanding
environments. Also, installation of Phoenix builds a
foundation upon which the district can grow with virtually
unlimited expandability as the needs of the faculty and
students continue to grow.
Realm Control Corp. again extends thanks to George Manolakis of
Integrated Systems & Services for choosing Phoenix as the
media management solution at Fair Haven Neighborhood
Schools.
